BJJ Instructor Kicks Out Fake Blue Belt
A video that has gone viral on Reddit showing a BJJ instructor from Prague confronting and kicking out a person who falsely claimed to be a blue belt at his academy. The individual stated that he was a blue belt under an instructor named Andy Roberts.
After a training session, the instructor contacted Roberts to inform him about the visiting student. That’s when the confusion arose, as Roberts revealed that the individual was not, in fact, a blue belt and had been dishonest.
The situation escalated when the fake blue belt asked the instructor to take a picture with him while he was wearing the blue belt, attempting to create the impression that he had been promoted.
Feeling embarrassed by the deception, the BJJ instructor confronted the impostor the following day and expelled him from the gym.
“I contacted Andy Roberts. Yes, you’re not a blue belt. You lied to me—you’re not a blue belt. He verified that you’re not a blue belt. That’s why you wanted to take a picture with me holding your belt, to make it look like I promoted you or something. Man, you’re a liar. You lied to me. I don’t want you training here anymore, okay?” – BJJ Instructor
