Rose Gracie Calls Out Fake Gracie Family Member
Rose Gracie has come out to disavow a person named Rodrigo Gracie Jr. who claims that he’s a member of the Gracie family.
She is claiming that this person has no formal ties to the family and is using the Gracie name to boost himself financially. He has been doing seminars and opening academies using the family’s last name.
However, nobody in the family has heard of a Rodrigo Gracie Jr. There’s the famous ADCC champion and former MMA fighter Rodrigo Gracie, who is Rose Gracie’s cousin, but not a Rodrigo Gracie Jr.
Rose’s daughter, Railey Gracie, investigated their family’s lineage, and she could not find a Rodrigo Jr. anywhere in their family tree. This led the granddaughter of Hélio Gracie to make a video disavowing this imposter.
“After extensive verification with direct family members and through other means, it is abundantly clear that we do not recognize any legitimate family connection with this person,” Rose Gracie stated. “Not genealogical, documentary, or testimonial evidence has been presented to confirm such a relationship.”- Rose.
Other members of the family, including Royler and Daniel Gracie, have denounced this impostor.
