A few weeks ago, I wrote an article about Andrew Wiltse. I had no idea about the stories surrounding his internet silence or the inner drama at Daisy Fresh.
In all honesty, I was just curious about why he wasn’t posting and wanted to see what he’s been doing. Never did I imagine the story would be as wild as it’s turning out to be.
I was going to leave the topic alone after the first article. Still, it’s become an elephant in the room situation. Here’s a quick summary of the Andrew Wiltse saga as of today.
Apologies in advance; I’m sure I’m leaving out parts of the story. However, I don’t want to dive into the deep end of this craziness and get caught up in the drama.
Revelations After the Andrew Wiltse Post
I’ll be honest: I wasn’t following Andrew Wiltse closely when I wrote the previous article on him. After a link to the article was posted on Facebook, comments started coming in, painting a clearer and more disturbing picture.
One comment in particular from a Daisy Fresh OG named Derek shed some light on this ongoing horror story.
“Real DF OG here, A lot of you are very confused and rightfully so.
Let me shed just a little light for you. The main reason Andrew isn’t around much, even though he’s still welcome at the DF, is because no one cares if he’s there anymore because of his actions.
This has nothing to do with covid or vaccines.Nor does it have anything to do with videos at the gym. NOTHING.
The TRUTH is Mr anti toxic f***** his brothers girlfriend and moved her into their house. Bird slept in the garage so he didn’t have to listen to them have sex.
Now, because Bird was literally codependent on Andrew, Andrew convinced bird this was all ok. But trust me, when Andrew called bird in front of me, as I cut our relationship, this is what was said,
“Derek is here telling me I’m the biggest piece of s*** in the world. Tell him you’re ok with everything”
“F**** no I’m not ok! What’s the matter with you”
Just the tip of the iceberg and whatever Andrew says, just know it won’t be a denial.

Andrew Wiltse’s Feud With Tom DeBlass
Many weren’t unaware that Wiltse has become a bit of a pariah on social media websites. He is very opinionated about his political stances and has publicly gone after many big BJJ and combat sports personalities.
One in particular is former no-gi world champion Tom DeBlass. An Instagram post from Tom posted on September 23rd shed some light on online attacks by Wiltse against him.
The post is a screenshot of a Wiltse DM showing Andrew apologizing for his actions and attacking DeBlass’s character.
Deblass responded with this in his post.
“Andrew, I’m glad to see you have come to your senses regarding me. However, I want to address a few things.
1. You leaked my number to thousands of people.
2. I’m praying you still seek help. I truly believe you need medication.
3. You say you overreacted? I woke up to an onslaught of attacks, and we had one previous interaction, me trying to help you.
4. You tried to ruin a good man’s life by falsely accusing him of things. Regardless of how much help you need, that’s simply horrible.
I can absolutely offer lots of advice, and I do. I have an entire organization dedicated to helping people. I have done my best to change and not react to people. However, your messages to me last week had me thinking of some dark thoughts. I don’t like Tom, who thinks dark thoughts.
I will not be working with you, but I appreciate your message. Best of luck in your future.

The Hillbilly Hammer Gets Caught Up in the Mess
Tom didn’t show any of the messages or threats sent to him. However, he posted another long post on Instagram on September 20th.
This post was made to shed light on alleged rumors of Tom disparaging Jacob “The Hillbilly Hammer” Couch. DeBlass praised both Couch and the Daisy Fresh team for how far they have come.
Also, he completely denies the allegations made about his disrespecting Couch. The Hillbilly Hammer himself commented on the post with: “Love ya big guy.”
Now, one of the nicest athletes in the sport is caught up in awful Jiu-Jitsu drama. DeBlass didn’t mention who made these allegations, but it’s kind of obvious who it was.
The Dark Side of the BJJ Community
We in the BJJ community like to portray the community as a welcoming and tight-knit group of martial artists. Unfortunately, things like this ongoing Andrew Wiltse saga show we don’t all get along.
As the chapters of this ugly story have unfolded, it’s been sad and disheartening to read. We hope Andrew Wiltse gets professional help and that peace will prevail in the online BJJ community.
