New Wave Also Receiving $1 Million
This is breaking news as Craig Jones has just announced that the New Wave Jiu-Jitsu team will also be receiving the $1 million team prize. After last night’s finals, neither the B-Team nor New Wave was able to secure a submission win.
This led the finals to go to a judge’s decision, where B-Team won by the narrowest of margins. Many fans and Gordon Ryan felt that his team did not lose and were vocal about it.

Well, Craig Jones and the CJI backers heard the complaints and agreed. Jones posted the following sentence today.
“New Wave receiving $1 million too.”- Craig Jones.
Nobody wanted to see the finals go down like they did, but hopefully the additional cash prize will make things right.
We’ll be looking forward to CJI revamping their event and coming back with a more improved CJI 3.
