Craig Jones just broke the news that CJI 2 will feature an 8-team Quintet-style tournament with $1 million on the line.
CJI 2: $1 Million Team Tournament
In the next installment of CJI 2, they will be shaking things up. Last time we wanted to find out who was the best grappler and now we’ll find out who’s the best team.
The tournament will follow the same rules as the popular Quintet-team tournaments. No teams have been announced yet, but $1 million is going to attract the top teams.
CJI 2 Super Fights
CJI 2 will also feature multiple superfights with some of the world’s best grapplers competing. However, Jones is saving those announcements for a future date.
He did hint that he’ll be participating in one and stated it won’t be a woman this time.
Bobby is martial artist for almost 20 years with a BJJ black belt under Professor Sergio Miranda. He is also a karate black and former combat sports athlete, who loves all things grappling.
