Craig Jones Questions UFC BJJ 2 Viewer Numbers

UFC BJJ 2 went down last week, and the organization once again claimed 3.1 million viewers. Many critics weren’t buying these numbers, and this includes Craig Jones.

Craig and other critics suspect that the UFC BJJ is using bots to pump the views to boost ad revenue and interests. A clear red flag that the numbers are cooked is the comments.

Their video with over 1 million views only has 300 comments. A large difference like that between views and comments is a clear sign of tampering to boost exposure.

Jones took notice of this difference and noted some did research that showed the real views was over 30k.

32K live viewers is your real ‘organic interest’ baseline. 1.2M views after 4 days with this engagement ratio strongly suggests promoted via paid ads (most likely). Possibly including botted views to juice numbers, though UFC usually uses legit ad promotion over buying fake views outright.”- Craig Jones.

It’s great that athletes grappling have another place to make money and get the spotlight. However, the alleged use of bots to boost revenue doesn’t help the organic growth of the sport.
