Helena Crevar Promoted to Black Belt

As expected, teen phenom Helena Crevar has been promoted to black belt by coach John Danaher. This was a much deserved promotion as Crevar has been dominating the top level of competition for years.

This past weekend, Helena Crevar dominated the women’s brown belt middleweight division to win the world title.

Once Crevar returned home, Danaher, along with Gordon Ryan and Garry Tonon, awarded Helena her black belt.

“Today is one of the most special days for me in my Jiu-Jitsu career, that I’ll remember and cherish as one of the most meaningful moments for the rest of my life. Today, my coach John Danaher promoted me to black belt, and I can’t be more thankful and happy for that.”- Helena Crevar.

Helena Also Received a Knife

Helena was also presented with a very nice and rare knife from her coach.

I was also gifted a very rare Fate Viper N690 knife. This was the third time that I was promoted by Professor John, and I feel extremely blessed to be promoted by someone like John, for whom I have so much respect. I’m officially a black belt, so I can’t wait to step on the mats as a black belt and make my team proud!”- Helena Crevar.

Helena has already been dominating the black belt level since she was fourteen. We can only expect more fantastic performances from this special athlete.
