Martin Buday Cut By UFC
Last weekend, Martin Buday pulled off the best win of his career by defeating multi-time world BJJ champion Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida. Buday was able to ruin the debut of the BJJ legend and grind out a decision win.
You would think that Martin wouldn’t be anywhere near the chopping block, but that assumption was incorrect. Despite a 16-2 record and a 7-1 UFC record, “Badys” was just cut by the organization.
Cutting a 7-1 heavyweight, who beat former world champion Andrei Arlovski, is mind-boggling.
The heavyweight division is already in shambles since Jon Jones held the division hostage, and now there’s one less decent heavyweight in arguably the weakest division in the organization.
One fact is certain, and that is the weakest weight division just got weaker with the release of Martin Buday.

Bobby is martial artist for almost 20 years with a BJJ black belt under Professor Sergio Miranda. He is also a karate black and former combat sports athlete, who loves all things grappling.
