After his recent win at the Fight 2 Win event Rafael Lovato Jr. is back, but this time inside the cage. Lovato is scheduled to take on John Salter (15-3) at Bellator 189.
Rafael Lovato is currently undefeated in MMA (7-0). Salter, however, has an extensive MMA resume. He has fought in various organizations including the UFC.
He has a black belt in jiu-jitsu and a wrestling pedigree. Even though Salter is the younger of the two men he has more experience in MMA. This might be Lovato’s first real challenge inside the cage.
Bellator 189 is set to take the stage at the Rosemont Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on April 28th.
The card’s main event will be Fedor Emelianenko vs. Frank Mir.
