Raja Jackson Arrested For Assault
About a month after the brutal assault that caused an internet firestorm, Raja Jackson has been arrested on felony assault and battery charges. The son of Rampage Jackson, and also an MMA fighter, was arrested on Thursday, September 18th, 2025.
He is currently in police custody, and his bond is currently set at $50k. There’s no word yet if Rampage will bail his son out or let him stay in jail.
The state is pressing charges independently, not requiring direct cooperation from the victim, Syko Stu, though a civil lawsuit from Stu remains possible.
Public pressure mounted over weeks, with fans and wrestlers demanding Raja Jackson’s arrest for assault or worse, given the video evidence and Stu’s military background.

Despite calls for attempted murder charges (citing premeditation and Raja’s statements about continuing until stopped), prosecutors opted for a lesser but serious felony.
Legal experts note that while attempted murder is unlikely (due to defenses around the wrestling context), conviction on the battery charge is “almost guaranteed” given the evidence. Raja’s MMA background could elevate the charge, treating his fists as a “deadly weapon.”
As of now, no court date is set for Jackson, and he remains in police custody.

Bobby is martial artist for almost 20 years with a BJJ black belt under Professor Sergio Miranda. He is also a karate black and former combat sports athlete, who loves all things grappling.
