“With the support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation was established in November 2012 as the official authority for Jiu-Jitsu in the UAE.
The Federation plays a leading role in supporting Jiu-Jitsu and contributing to building a strong generation of UAE athletes to excel at the local and international levels. The Federation’s role is to implement policies that develop the sport in collaboration with various government entities, educational institutions, and other partners in order to advance the sport locally, regionally and globally.”
Unlike other Organizations, the UAEJJF takes a fair application fee per competition and usually, you can find a lot of competitors signed up. Therefore you will have a lot of fights AND the chance to win some cash prizes and medals. Furthermore, you will be placed in the rankings which give you the chance to fly to the World championships.
These rankings can be found on the website, but now the fun part start: Not only your name will be available but also your full fighter profile with name, age, residence , profile picture, academy, and most important fighting record.
AL AIN INTERNATIONAL PRO JIU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP 2019
Total Cash prize of AED 150,000 (~$40,838) will be awarded to the winners of Al Ain International Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
The Al Ain International Pro Jiu Jitsu Championship will be held in Al Ain city on 18th of October 2019.
